At Middle Ridge State School we offer a range of facilities and services for the benefit of our students, families and wider school community.
Our tuckshop, operated by the Parents and Citizens Association, has a large variety of healthy choice options for students on its menu. The tuckshop is open before school and at both recess breaks from Tuesday - Friday each school week.
The uniform store, also operated by the P&C Association, is located upstairs in A block. It is open on Mondays from 2.00-3.00pm and Thursdays from 8.00-9.00am.
We have secured the services of a fully accredited and licensed provider of an Outside School Hours Care program which welcomes students from Prep through to Year 6 both before and after school on school days. The current provider, Team Kids, has been successfully conducting before and after school care programs on the school site for more than three years. Based in the school’s multipurpose hall, Team Kids also conducts whole day vacation care programs during school holiday periods. Outside School Hours Care programs operate as external providers of a seervice, independent of the school, and are accessed on a fee paying basis by parents.
The development of projects for the maintenance of buildings, equipment, resource security and grounds care result from careful and co-operative planning by both the school’s leadership and the Parents and Citizens Association.
