In addition to the formal curriculum offerings, Middle Ridge State School provides a range of activities which complement the mandated Key Learning Areas (KLAs) and are offered to support student development in areas beyond the academic domain.
Our highly regarded arts program incorporates classroom music for all students from prep to year 7 as well as options for participation in choirs, instrumental ensembles and the learning of a musical instrument from year 5.
Programs are offered to allow students to participate in competitions such as Maths Team Challenges, Optiminds and International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS).
The school resource centre has a program for student Library Volunteers for children of Years 4 to 7.
We offer our students a range of external and internal camps and excursions to support and enhance the curriculum.
Students are also offered opportunities to participate in a range of additional sporting opportunities within and beyond the school each term.
